The modern smart building conversation has been going on for over 20 years. Gone are the days of single system, vendor and building solutions. With the complexities found in today's built environment, the idea of connected, integrated, interoperable, IP-centric buildings has taken hold.

IBcon is focused on this new generation of smart buildings and to furthering the conversation and adoption in our industry. Breakout sessions, precon events, showcases, and our exhibit floor have all been designed to educate the industry on this important and evolving topic.

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new event in 2024, the Smarter Connected Buildings Forum. This event will be scheduled during our precon programming, which allows for a 3-hour conversation among real estate professionals taking place in one room with very few interruptions. Conference attendees participate in an open conversation with some of the brightest in the industry on everything smart buildings. The event will begin with big strategic conversations and include extraordinary case studies, lively debates and cutting-edge demonstrations.
