This year’s Realcomm | IBcon conference was a huge success and a special occasion for many reasons, but at its most fundamental level, it was yet another step toward a return to normalcy and being together again in person to share, collaborate and learn.
The event attracted creative, forward-thinking, progressive and global commercial and corporate real estate and facilities professionals who joined us in Orlando to explore our theme, The Great (Real Estate) Reconfiguration, and how recent societal changes are impacting how we design, build, lease, operate, transact, and use real estate.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! We are thrilled that so many of our attendees found the Realcomm | IBcon conference such a valuable experience and how much they enjoyed reconnecting with peers, colleagues, and clients. We are grateful for all who participated, helping us deliver a high level, engaging and educational event.
Realcomm | IBcon hosted its annual Golf Outing that drew more than 60 golfers to play the course at the Shingle Creek Golf Club.
Special thanks to our event co-chairs Robert Entin of Vornado and Todd Januzzi of The Paramount Group for helping us organize the fun and making this a successful event.
Realcomm | IBcon attendees had an opportunity to participate in back-of-house tours of several innovative projects and experiences in the Orlando area.
This year’s four precon events started with the CRE Cybersecurity Forum, which addressed the high-impact cyber threats and presented cybersecurity best practices developed by the Real Estate Cyber Consortium (RECC). The afternoon sessions included individual breakouts based on the attendees’ role within the real estate industry. Conference attendees enjoyed some fun, food and libations at the nearby Rosen Centre Hotel on the first evening. The Welcome Reception was a great opportunity to catch up with peers and make new friends before the conference began the next day.
