5G | In-Building Wireless Symposium

June 13 | 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm | Pisa

Network communications have always been the foundational building block of innovation. Without robust and scalable “highways,” applications and solutions cannot evolve. Getting wireless communications deep inside buildings has long been a challenge. Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and WiFi have been the answer but are now being challenged because of the additional features that 5G, CBRS and private networks in general have to offer. In addition to cellular communications and WiFi, IOT and smart building applications provide their own set of opportunities. Unfortunately, the rapid evolution of some technologies and the overlap of solutions has resulted in industry confusion and uncertainty.

This precon event will provide a deep dive into both the challenges and opportunities for building owners and operators with respect to 5G, CBRS and other emerging in-building wireless technologies.
