Michael Osment

             CIO & Chief Technology Officer
             Taubman

Michael Osment is CIO and Chief Technology Officer at Taubman, a
company that develops, owns, manages and leases regional, super-
regional and outlet shopping centers in the U.S. and Asia. He has more
than 30 years of experience in all aspects of Information Technology,
including Senior IT leadership experience at Fortune 100 companies
such as General Motors, TRW and ITT Industries. Shortly after joining
Taubman in early 2012, he launched a three year program to transform
the information technology organization and systems.

             Highlights of 2014
Last year, Taubman furthered its commitment to technology by adding
Chief Technology Officer to my title. This may seem like a small thing,
but it in fact confirmed that technology is becoming central to how our
company operates internally at our headquarters, within our centers and
             how we work with retailers.

against the online world. Each day, we see them making strides in how
they use technology to connect with customers. They want to generate
sales in their stores, and we want to help them succeed so we are em-
bracing and pioneering technology to make it so.

We started by creating an internal ‘Technology Lab’ to stay ahead
of trends in technology and plan for the future. This cross-functional
Taubman team has representatives from leasing, development, design,
energy management and operations. Together, we focus on understand-

and plan to bring the best

                                                                    of the technology that is
