Susan Gerock currently serves as SVP, Information Technology and CIO for Elme Communities, formerly known as WashREIT. She has over 25 years' experience in various technology roles spanning manufacturing, consulting, application service provider and commercial real estate organizations. Her specialties include ERP selection and implementation, project and change management, and cybersecurity. She is also a proponent of the use of social media and the overlapping relationship between technology and marketing.

Karen Jalon is Cadillac Fairview's Vice President of Sustainability, Energy & Smart Technology and is responsible for the company’s award-winning approach to sustainability, climate, and energy management as well as its smart building technologies strategy and execution. Karen is an industry-leading pioneer in establishing Green Building standards and sits on many of the guiding committees that set the sustainability standards to which the global real estate industry adheres.

Abby Shockley has been working in the data world since 2015. After getting her PhD in physics, she transitioned to the corporate world working in a variety of roles. She’s covered cybersecurity, healthcare, retail marketing and real estate. As the Director of Enterprise Data and Projects at Kimco Realty, she plays a key role in how data is governed and used to support business decisions.

Vidhya Balakrishnan is head of engineering for Property and Asset Management technologies at JLLT. She is an Innovative product and technology leader with 20+ years of experience in building and leading global Data Analytics and Engineering teams across commercial real estate, travel and other industries. Vidhya joined JLLT a couple of years back to lead Engineering for Occupier solutions and more recently moved to the PAM technologies giving her the breadth of commercial real estate industry knowledge. Prior to JLLT, Vidhya spent 12+ years in the hospitality industry where she led multiple tech initiatives including their retailing and customer experience solutions, cloud architecture and AI initiatives.

Brittany White serves as Vice President of Technical Applications with Bridge Investment Group. With nearly a decade of experience in the CRE sector, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to leveraging technology to enhance business operations. She is responsible for identifying and implementing technology, providing tools to help streamline processes/improve communications, and helping end users make improved data driven decisions.

Jennifer Beske leads Strategy & Research for Carrier’s Digital Foundry, a cross-disciplinary team focused on building Carrier’s next gen digital offerings. She is currently responsible for growing Carrier’s Design Research and Product Strategy practice by applying design thinking, lean and agile methodologies to discover innovation opportunities for the built environment. She started her career running her own interior design business, which taught her the power of user-centered design. She spent many years as an innovation consultant where helped companies leverage design thinking to solve complex business problems including new market entry, product/service development, customer experience design and platform innovation.

As industry principal, Patty Evans oversees the sales, marketing and product strategies for Yardi Aspire, Yardi’s Learning Management Solution. She leverages her 25+ years of experience in instructional design, training delivery, training program development and management to ensure clients have access to effective training strategies and resources.
