Low Voltage Buildings Roundtable
June 13 | 1:45 pm - 6:00 pm | Sorrento
The debate goes all the way back to Tesla vs. Edison. In the end, Tesla won, and our world has been powered by alternating current ever since. Because of recent advancements and an increased interest in more sustainable power, low voltage is increasingly being considered as an option to power devices in buildings. Starting with security cameras and lighting, new systems are being developed that connect a multitude of electro/mechanical building systems. While there will always be, at least in the near term, a need for AC for high powered applications, low voltage is here to stay. This Roundtable will focus on a variety of issues ranging from technical opportunities and challenges as well as business and environmental drivers.
