Our new 3-story, 150,000 square foot Global Headquarters located in Fort Mill, South
Carolina, is one of the first-in-the-world fully-digital buildings exclusively powered by
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). In the finished building, extensive use of the Internet of
Things (IoT) has created an integrated structure where 35 systems are collapsed onto
a single backbone; environmental, energy, communication, and even plumbing systems
are not siloed, but operate like an interconnected organism. Sensors automatically track
movements via Wi-Fi to the nearest one meter, and look for actionable data patterns that
cut operating costs, drive collaboration and increase end-user engagement.
