Advisory Council Co-Chairs


Jesse Carrillo is Chief Innovation Officer for The Howard Hughes Corporation. He oversees the strategy and operation of the company’s innovation and technology platforms across HHC’s national portfolio of large-scale master planned communities (MPCs) and mixed-use properties. Previously, he was CIO at Hines directing all corporate technology, strategy and standards for the global real estate firm worldwide.


Cecilia Li has more than 20 years of experience as a proven technology strategist and business transformation expert. She is currently the SVP, CIO of Urban Edge Properties, a REIT that focused on management, acquiring, development and redevelopment of retail real estate in urban communities. Urban Edge owns 77 properties totaling 16.2 million square feet of gross leasable area.


Jeremy Poteet is the EVP of Technology at JBG SMITH where he leads a team of business minded technologists responsible for technology and innovation based transformative initiatives. He has over 20 years in real estate technology across many asset types in the real estate space and is passionate about the adoption of technology and leading others in solving complex process, technology, reporting, and organizational challenges.
Advisory Council Members


Warren Adair is responsible for leading the LMH Information Technology (IT) team in designing, developing, and implementing organizational information systems and software applications. Adair brings over 25 years of experience, expertise, and leadership to this role.


Maria Aiello is Head of Technology at Manulife Real Estate. She has over 28 years experience developing and implementing multi-year IT strategies in complex real estate organizations.


Farooz Alikhan is Managing Director IT of DivcoWest and is responsible for all IT resources and initiatives. With his more than 17 years of experience, he helps define and execute the IT strategy in line with the overall business strategy.



Ryan Allbaugh has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, he leads highly knowledgeable and collaborative teams to design and implement technical solutions for Wells Fargo’s corporate properties group. As the former CIO of the largest private commercial real estate developer in the southeast, Ryan applied his extensive knowledge to implement technology solutions impacting the real estate industry, such as his role in the development of one of the most technologically sophisticated buildings in the world, the Duke Energy Center in Charlotte, NC.



Stuart Appley is a Managing Director in CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions Group, where he is responsible for providing executive technology oversight and consulting to clients. Stuart also has a technology innovation & thought leadership role, helping to develop, drive, and lead pilots on innovative digital projects across CBRE. He was previously the CIO at Shorenstein Realty Services, where he led the transformation of the company’s technology environment into an innovative and best in class organization.


Porter Bellew is VP, CIO for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is responsible for the Trust’s information technology strategy, services, operations and team. Porter has over 25 years of experience in real estate information management.


Currently, Keith Bereskin is the Vice President of Information Technology & Building Operations at Healthpeak Properties, a fully integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests primarily in real estate serving the United States healthcare industry. Keith previously gained IT experience with companies in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Semi-Conductor sectors.



Christopher Blackman serves as SVP and CIO responsible for the day to day technology direction and implementation for Empire State Realty Trust, a leading real estate investment trust (REIT), owns, manages, operates, acquires and repositions office and retail properties in Manhattan and the greater New York metropolitan area, including the Empire State Building, the world's most famous building.








Sandeep Davé is the Chief Digital & Technology Officer for CBRE. In this role, Sandeep leads the company’s digital strategy and all aspects of technology globally. He and his team provide the technology capabilities and infrastructure to support CBRE’s clients and professionals across the globe. Prior to his current role, Sandeep served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer for CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business with responsibility for digital enablement and transformation of the business.







Robert Entin is currently EVP and CIO for Vornado Realty Trust, one of the nation's largest real estate investment trusts. Robert had founded Integrated Business Systems, Inc. in 1979 combining technical engineering expertise with accounting and property management experience to provide turnkey technology solutions for the real estate industry.



Ian Feagin is currently the Director of Information Technology at Jamestown, a national, vertically integrated real estate operator with approximately $11.2 billion of assets under management. Previously, Ian was Director of Technical Support at Leapfrog for 14 years where he was responsible for providing technical services to over 10,000 users worldwide with a staff of 65 technicians.


Talia Fine is the SVP, Information Technology, responsible for the strategy and oversight of technology at Tanger Outlets. Prior to joining Tanger, Talia worked at Brookfield in both the office and retail sectors. She has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.


John Fitzpatrick is a Managing Director and Global Chief Technology Officer of Blackstone Real Estate within the Technology and Innovations group. He is responsible for all aspects of technology across Blackstone Real Estate and our portfolio companies and also oversees the Blackstone Innovations investment program, which seeks to unlock value for our LPs and the firm by taking stakes in targeted, early stage, technology-based investment opportunities.


Susan Gerock currently serves as VP, Information Technology and CIO for WashREIT, a publicly traded REIT based in Washington, DC. She has over 25 years' experience in various technology roles spanning manufacturing, consulting, application service provider and commercial real estate organizations. Her specialties include ERP selection and implementation, project and change management, and cybersecurity. She is also a proponent of the use of social media and the overlapping relationship between technology and marketing.



Jason Gheradini is currently SVP, IT at Sares-Regis, a preeminent developer and provider of comprehensive commercial and residential real estate services throughout the western United States. He provides all aspects of IT leadership from business strategy, infrastructure operations and support to overseeing innovation and emerging technology. Jason has over 15 years of experience in commercial and multi-family real estate, construction and the software industry.




Mike Goodwin is Stockbridge's Director of Technology, CISO. He oversees information technology, information security and cybersecurity for the firm. He has a combined 18 years in the industry across different operational functions.








Dale Johnston is SVP, CIO of Regency Center where he oversees the its information technology team nationwide and advances the company’s information and technology platforms. He has 16 years of experience in leading technology teams and projects for commercial real estate companies.



JP Jones is currently SVP, CIO of Macerich responsible for hiring, training, developing and leading a highly proficient and cross-sectional IT team. He was initially hired within the Westcor merger to implement, upgrade and manage the applications and technologies of a public REIT with 2,000 users across multiple locations in the US. With over 28 years' experience, JP is a collaborative senior IT executive leader, business partner and solution provider.


Sineesh Keshav is the Chief Technology Officer at Prologis. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the technology strategy and is responsible for leading the company’s global data and digital transformation. Since joining Prologis in 2018, Sineesh and his team have been focused on a capability driven, customer-centric approach to innovation and digitalization.




Phil Klokis is currently the CIO for the Public Buildings Service (PBS) of the General Services Administration. He is responsible for delivering Information Technology (IT) solutions and services supporting PBS' diverse real estate operations and portfolio management consisting of 1,500 owned assets, 9,000 active leased assets and nearly 350 million square feet of office space.


Jim Kurek is Brandywine's VP, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. With over 20 years of experience in technology across multiple verticals, his expertise includes all facets of information technology including cybersecurity, infrastructure and operations, digital transformation and data analytics. Prior to joining Brandywine, Jim worked for Liberty Property Trust as their CIO, as well as D&H as their SVP of Technology and Operations where he was responsible for the company's global technology footprint.


Ken Kurz brings over 20 years of leadership and operational experience in cybersecurity, network technologies, information systems, risk mitigation and remediation, and technical project management to COPT. Supporting COPT as CIO since 2016, he has prior experience as the CISO for the University of Delaware, CISO for the University of Oklahoma, and CIO for the US Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation. He has also held various technical and leadership positions within the Department of Defense.


Kevin McCann is a senior business technology executive with over 20 years of experience. Currently, he is Chief Information Officer at Phillips Edison & Company. Previously, Kevin was CIO and VP at IRC Retail Centers where he created and developed the company’s technology department, and set strategic technology goals. Previous to IRC, he was the IT Director for the Inland Real Estate Group of Companies.


Robb Napolitano is the CIO for the Brooksville Company and is responsible for all oversight of its information and technology platforms. As a member of Brooksville's Senior Leadership Team, he contributes to the firm's strategic direction by using Information and Technology to reduce cost, improve operational process efficiencies and maximize revenue. Robb has more than 20 years' experience in the application of IT solutions across multiple industries.


Simon Okunev oversee the strategy and execution of Tishman Speyer's Global Information Technology function. He has 25 years of experience building and leading teams, as well as developing and implementing innovative technologies and systems.


As Vice President of Duke Realty’s Information Technology Department, Don Oldham leads technology solutions research and manages initiatives to digitize the real estate business model. He and his team are tasked with discovering new technology opportunities, reducing the cost of doing business and adding efficiency to business processes. They improve efficiencies through the development and implementation of innovative technologies.


Michael Osment is Bedrock's Chief Technology Officer leading its technology team in building services, enterprise project management systems, data management and IT. In this role, Osment will merge technology with physical buildings to create new environments that deliver better services, reduce energy usage and enhance digital infrastructure. Michael has more than 20 years as an information and technology executive.



Clint Osteen is Sr. Director of IT and is responsible for directing Granite’s information services and telecommunications across the portfolio. Prior to joining Granite, Clint spent 10 years in consulting, providing commercial real estate companies technology and business improvement services.


Sunder Pappu has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently the VP, Technology at Inland Computer Services. Prior to Inland, Sunder worked at JP Morgan Chase, Avanade and Deloitte Consulting, holding leadership positions in the areas of strategy consulting, project management and application delivery.


Soheil Pourhashemi is currently SVP and head of technology for Brookfield Properties commercial real estate in North America. He is responsible for establishing and executing the commercial real estate IT strategy, vision and roadmap for the office sector. He has a keen focus on data and analytics, automation, IoT and partnering with the business in executing new innovations across the portfolio. Brookfield Properties develops and operates more than 650 properties and 325 million square feet of high-quality, sustainability-focused real estate assets around the globe. It provides integrated services across all property investment strategies of Brookfield Asset Management, a global alternative asset manager with over $600 billion in AUM.


As the Director of Information Technology at Woolbright Development, Luis Ramos is responsible for the corporate technology strategy, which includes the IT infrastructure and enterprise application platforms. Additionally, he is also responsible for implementing technology solutions toward the company’s existing business processes, and helping create new efficiencies throughout the company's business model. Since his arrival in 2004, his team has been responsible for the constant development of various industry-focused proprietary software applications and tools. These award-winning technologies have fundamentally changed the way commercial real estate has been done at Woolbright.


Joe Rich is SVP, CIO of Related Companies, a privately owned real estate firm with a portfolio of over $50 billion in real estate assets owned or under development that is made up of best-in-class mixed-use, residential, retail, office and affordable properties in premier high-barrier-to-entry markets. Joe has over 13 years experience as a CIO focused on global cultural change within the organization.


Larry Schachter is Director of Technology at TGM Associates, where he responsible for all technology infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity. TGM is a multifamily owner/operator/registered investment advisor with a nationwide footprint. Prior to joining TGM, Larry was the CIO for Benderson Development Company, a 40MM sqft. privately held real estate owner-operator.


Kim Scharf has been the Senior Vice President of Information Technology at SITE Centers Corp. since April 2017. Before this, Kim served as SITE's Vice President of IT Enterprise Services. She is a member of the executive steering committee for SITE's Women of Influence program, the Realcomm Advisory Council, the Building Cyber Security (BCS) Advisory Board, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).


Jeannie Schneider is the SVP & CTO for Hines. She is responsible for all corporate and global real estate technologies, strategy, and standards. Jeannie has established a reputation as a versatile, strategic leader who has a very deep knowledge of real estate and how technology can transform the industry and Hines to create more value.


Pete Schow has over 15 years of experience in real estate technology and data management including enterprise level projects in both the commercial and residential real estate space. He has worked directly with the largest organizations in both sectors and spent several years providing consulting services for many other well recognized names.


Bill Sechen is Managing Director at Harrison Street and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Bill leads initiatives focused on the technology, data, process and information security needs as well as leading initiatives for M&A activities.



Justin Segal is an operations executive and entrepreneur specializing in real estate investment and management, startups, and technology. He is the founder of Stemmons Enterprise, a universal operations platform that allows companies to operate with pervasive data and unparalleled agility. He often speaks on topics involving enterprise data, analytics, and user experience.


Dipesh Shah leads Cresa’s IT team and strategy, and manages the company’s client-facing technology platform to ensure that it is differentiated and valuable. He also leads the technology advisory and business intelligence portions of Cresa’s consulting offering.






With strategic oversight of MAPP's Property Management functions, Robert ensures that people, technology and processes are effectively structured and connected. He explores and implements new technology to aid growth, and works with clients to identify their requirements and interpret that into action, ensuring excellence in service delivery and an occupier centric approach. Robert has over 20 years' experience in managing significant client portfolio mandates and working with sector leading organisations to deliver change, engagement and performance.


Helane Stein is SVP, CIO of Brixmor, which owns and operates a high-quality, national portfolio of open-air shopping centers. Its 393 retail centers comprise of approximately 69 million square feet of prime retail space in established trade areas.




For more than twenty years, Stephen Suriano has been responsible for creating and implementing the information and technology strategy of DRA Advisors LLC, a real estate investment advisor that manages roughly $12B of retail, office, industrial and multifamily assets.


Thomas Taddeo is SVP, CIO at Kimco. He is responsible for the overall technology strategy, systems and infrastructure which support Kimco's global business operations. He also directs the implementation of enterprise initiatives that leverage technology to improve organizational efficiency and productivity. Prior to joining Kimco, Tom was a Senior Manager at Deloitte in their Real Estate Consulting Practice. He has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.




Greg Thomas is currently SVP, CTO at Alexandria Real Estate Equities. He is an Information management executive, with a proven track record of leading organizations through business-oriented digital transformations. With a real estate and financial services industry focus, works closely with lines of business leaders to identify requirements and opportunities for innovation and enabling technologies. Combines a high-energy, collaborative work style, with the ability to harness agility and responsiveness to build a high-performing digital culture.






Yael Urman is Silverstein Properties' CIO overseeing the technology initiatives that support the company's financial, operations and development activities. She has previously held various leadership roles in Energy, IT services, Biotech and Pharma.


Brandon Van Orden is SVP & CIO for Cousins Properties Incorporated based in Atlanta. He is responsible for Cousins technical vision and all aspects of the Information Technology organization including people, strategy, development and operations. Prior to joining Cousins in 2016, Brandon was VP of Global Applications for Novelis and prior to that he was with GE Energy for 12 years where he held a number of IT leadership roles increasing in responsibility after he graduated from the GE Information Technology Leadership Program in 2003.


Edward Wagoner serves as the Executive Director and Digital Chief Information Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., a role to which he was named in 2020. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Information Officer of Corporate Solutions at the company. Wagoner joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1996 and has held various roles with increasing responsibilities including, Director of Information Technology for Americas, Implementation Manager of National Property Service Center, Manager of Audit and Quality Control and Chief Information Officer for Americas.


Sheridan Ware manages all aspects of technology at Charter Hall. Multi-layered with far-reaching impact, her team constantly seeks new ways to leverage platforms and data – to drive deeper insights that will not only create better choices in property investment, but also ensure the business is operating as efficiently as possible to continue to grow and support its investors’ future wealth. As a human-centric designer, Sheridan puts people at the heart of everything she does.



Jim Whalen serves as SVP and CIO/CTO responsible for the direction and implementation of technology and applications at Boston Properties, a fully integrated real estate investment trust and one of the largest owners and developers of Class-A office properties in the United States. Over a 27-year IT career, Jim has supported real estate operations ranging from residential, construction, public housing, commercial office and retail.


Ilan Zachar is currently Chief Technology Officer at Carr Properties, a privately held REIT known for its portfolio of trophy-quality properties in the Washington D.C. In this role, Ilan leverages vision and foresight to cross-pollinate best practices, processes, systems and resources across corporate operations/affiliates. Under his leadership, this has resulted in improvements in bottom-line costs, top-line business growth/scalability, operational sustainability and high performance and overall, strengthening his company’s role as a market leader. For over 20 years, Ilan has been executive business leader and innovative technology strategist for multinational real-estate and property development companies worldwide.
